- LUZ is an ARANÁZ initiative that celebrates the light that shines within Filipinos during times of darkness — the bayanihan spirit. It aims to rebuild lives one bag at a time.
- The With Love edition was conceived for the town of Basey, Samar-- known as the "Banig Capital of the Philippines." It is one of the towns that were badly hit by Typhoon Haiyan. With mat-weaving as the town’s primary livelihood, the recent typhoon has dampened this thriving industry.
- In true bayanihan spirit, the Bicol weavers lend a helping hand through the With Love bag. Handcrafted in Bicol, the bag will benefit the town of Basey, Samar. A portion of the sales from every bag sold will be used to re-build the lives and homes of its residents — the residents who have laboured to bring us the beautiful woven mats we all know and love.
- Lovingly crafted from fine weave abaca and meticulously embroidered by hand.
- Proceeds will be coursed to the people of Basey, Samar through Gawad Kalinga.
