Fresh Tomato and Olive Bruschetta

August 01, 2014
To celebrate our Italian Riviera collection, we present a step-by-step guide to making a simple Bruschetta mixed with olives in honor of its Mediterranean roots. This is easily an HQ favorite.
First step is to get all your ingredients together.
You Will Need:
Any Hard Bread that you prefer
(Baguette, Ciabatta or French Bread works best)
Fresh Tomatoes
Black Olives
Onions
Fresh Basil
Garlic
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper
Start by chopping the tomatoes into cubes.
Then chop the olives, onions and basil.
Slice garlic in half horizontally for the bread and set aside. Chop a few cloves into small pieces too.
Mix all wet ingredients together and add olive oil.
Add chopped basil into the mix. [More bonus points if color coordinated with our
Hang Phen Mini Bowls]
Mix everything up well and let it soak for a bit. See how pretty it looks?
Now slice the bread and grill for best results. Using a toaster is fine, too.
Rub with garlic (the one we set aside earlier) as soon as it's warm and toasty.
Place mixture on top of bread and garnish with a basil leaf.
Marvel at your creation and ENJOY!
