Sewn Sandals Pangatnig Blue Jeans

  • From old pairs of jeans to new pairs of upcycled footwear! True to our commitment to sustainability, this style is made out of upcycled denim scraps from the closure of a jeans factory brought about by the pandemic crisis. We saw this opportunity to reuse and reduce waste by acquiring the factory’s leftover denim scraps or “retaso”.

    • Upper made of denim scraps twisted into a knot with raw threadbare edges.
    • With an upcycled emblem to spread awareness on recycling & reducing waste.
    • Square toe footbed made from hand woven Abaca/Manila Hemp.
    • Gum outer sole.
    • Fitting: fits slim to regular
    • Available in one color: Stone Wash
    • Sustainability Note: For sustainability purposes, colors or shades of the upcycled denim may not be exactly similar. Rest assured that both left and right pairs are similar and all patterns and designs are well thought of by our artisans that are all highly loved by previous clients.
  • Handcrafted by local artisans of Marikina for Sewn, a local footwear brand whose mission is to promote appreciation for Philippine culture by creating tropical handcrafted footwear for women towards a more sustainable living.
