A few nutritious ingredients, a blender, and a juicer can go a long, long way

Space design extraordinaire Kitty Bunag gives us the backstory to her juicing journey as well as a peek into her healthy kitchen. Read on for her favorite immune system-boosting recipes below.


Juicing and smoothie-making days at home may have started because of an unfortunate health crisis in the family just weeks before the pandemic. When you find out a loved one has cancer, it inevitably and most willingly becomes your fight too. It’s far from easy - it's challenging at first but now life-saving.

How do you overcome days that are dreary? Make it pretty!

A friend recently told me that self-preservation is our responsibility throughout this battle, uplifting those around us in the process, too. Once you feel nourished, you can give so much more vitality and life to those around you.

Kitty's smoothie bowl is topped with fresh fruits, chia, and flax seeds and is not only nutritious but yummy as well

Here are my favorite immuno-boosting recipes! These can, of course, be tweaked depending on what's available in your local markets.

This is not your typical juice. These were prepared using both juicing & blending machines combined so you get the most nutrients out of each ingredient. There is absolutely no sugar added. No additives. No preservatives. 100% natural & fresh. All ingredients are ozonated.

I research the benefits of each ingredient I source. Knowing what each drink can do encourages the family to jump on the healthy smoothie bandwagon as well.

Kitty started her juicing chronicles because of a sick loved one, and now everyone around her including herself is benefitting from her new habits

1. Smoothie Juice

This smoothie juice is rich in multivitamins, beta-carotenes and antioxidants that cleanse the digestive system from toxins. It also offers protection from neurotoxicity, and oxidative stress. It can combat cancer without harming healthy cells.

Juice together:







Blend together:

Frozen blueberries and strawberries

Almond milk

2. Green Juice

This classic green juice has powerful inflammation-fighting antioxidants to help fight free radicals that attack cells in your body. It is incredibly nutritious and provides a high dose of daily value needs for vitamin K, niacin, vitamin B-6, folate, magnesium, and potassium.

Juice and blend together:






Matcha powder 

Organic almond milk

Raw spirulina

3. Glow Juice

Don't be deceived - it may be the simplest to prepare but it's oh-so-yummy! It's rich in multivitamins, beta-carotenes and antioxidants that cleanse the digestive system from toxins as well as helps body fight against cancer and many other diseases.
