Travel Must-Haves: 12 Beauty Essential Picks for Holiday Trips

by Japs Medina November 24, 2019

Packing your beauty essentials should be fuss-free and efficient

When traveling, packing beauty essentials tends to be the last thing on the must-do list (and the most rushed one at that). It's very tempting to throw all your favorite products into your luggage, and end up not actually using half of them. With the right tools and know-how, packing your must-haves should be fuss-free and efficient.

We've rounded up 12 of our must-have beauty products to take with you on holiday trips.

Changing temperatures call for a simple hypoallergenic skincare line

Our skin can become pretty sensitive especially when it experiences drastic changes in temperature. We recommend packing a hypoallergenic line especially designed for sensitive skin like Centella Asiatica. Their fuss-free line consists of cleansing water, multi lotion, and multi toner.

Traveling is not an excuse to forego giving your skin a little TLC

Going on holidays is not an excuse to skip extensive skincare. Take at least one to two days out of your packed schedule to give your skin the TLC it deserves (especially after all the sightseeing). We love bringing our favorite G9 serum and a face roller to give our skin a good massage before turning in for the night.

Of course, we can't skip scents either. Pack a light-hearted cologne such as Cadentia's classic fresh French scent. Head notes are bergamot, lemon, orange, lisea cubeba, and neroli. Heart notes are clove and pine, deep notes are white musk and orange.

Keep your makeup essentials to pieces that are simple but versatile

For makeup, we love to go the natural look that can take you from day-to-night. We recommend a base powder, a concealer set (to keep your travel photos blemish-free), mascara, a travel brush set, and our secret weapon: a contour set. Contour sets are great for taking you from a light, feminine look to femme fatale. Another must-have: red lipstick. Never travel without one. You never know when you'll need it.

We also love that the Srichand Powder can double as a face mask. Just add water.

We love travel bags that have pouches that stay put, thanks to a little bt of velcro

Our travel bag motto: the more partitions, the better

Half the battle is picking out the perfect bag in which to store your beauty products in. We love a great compact set that has several pouches and partitions in it. We especially love how a brand like KiT's pouches are made of a material that's easy to wipe should there be any product spills made.

Just make sure you have these basics, and maybe a bottle of sunscreen, and you're good to go. Happy holiday-ing!
